The Fisherman and the Little Fish
Captain Tsubasa ZERO -Miracle Shot- is an upcoming RPG adaptation of the football-themed anime ‘Captain Tsubasa’. It’s based on the most recent 2018 version of the hit anime, and you can pre-register for it now ahead of its launch on September 12th.

It’s perhaps best described as a real-time football simulation game with levelling mechanics and a story which allows you to follow the captain and his teammates on their journey to sports stardom. The story seems to stick closely to the anime’s, though there’ll also be sub-scenarios added which explore some of the more obscure schools referenced in the show.

Scenario mode is where you might start out, but I reckon a good deal of your time will go to match mode. This is where you’ll form an original team with the characters and skills you’ve acquired through the scenario mode. On top of the standard modes and rewards, you can also expect the usual daily login bonuses and special events dotted throughout the year.

It’s been out for around a year in Japan. After a positive fan reaction, publisher GMO is now looking to launch the game worldwide in over 90 regions and countries, supporting 7 languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Thai.

As is fairly typical, the game’s running a pre-registration campaign, with rewards being doled out depending on how many are achieved. For example, 10,000 will net players 100 Gems (the game’s premium currency), 30,000 is 300 gems, 50,000 is 500 Gems, etc. The ultimate goal is 300,000 pre-registrations which equals 3,000 Gems – surely a nice little boost to get everyone started.

It doesn’t seem like you necessarily need to be the biggest fan of the anime to enjoy this one. Those looking for an accessible football sim will also likely get some fun out of it. If you’d like to pre-register for Captain Tsubasa ZERO -Miracle Shot-, you can do so now over on both the App Store and Google Play.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

As of yesterday, we now know it'll be coming to Switch, iOS and Android on January 23rd, so not too long to wait now.

Crystal Chronicles originally released on the Gamecube in 2004 - 2003 in Japan - where it was quite well-received having shipped over 1 million copies worldwide. The game follows a young group, comprising of four different races, called the Crystal Caravans. You follow their journey as they search for Myrrh a substance that can cleanse crystals that protect their world from a dangerous gas.

Unlike many older Final Fantasy games, Crystal Chronicles is more akin to a hack and slash game than a turn-based RPG. And instead of gaining experience the old fashioned way by battering folk and completing missions you'll instead tackle challenges in each dungeon that will award ability points when the criteria are met.

3、
Itatake's Rest in Pieces has just received a festive update which puts a fresh spin on its mix of horror imagery and runner gameplay. The new theme, Mara's Nightmare, is the first of the game's modes to offer endless runner action.

Instead of working to beat your worst nightmares, you instead become one in Mara, the mother of all nightmares in Scandinavian folklore. It's certainly an interesting twist, and it's said to be extremely challenging, which means it should easily appeal to players who've stuck with the game since launch.
