His father threw a stump at him when he was small.

"If that were really all, I wouldn't mind, Captain Jim. I would understand. But there are times--not always, but now and again-- when I almost have to believe that Leslie doesn't--doesn't like me. Sometimes I surprise a look in her eyes that seems to show resentment and dislike--it goes so quickly--but I've seen it, I'm sure of that. And it hurts me, Captain Jim. I'm not used to being disliked-- and I've tried so hard to win Leslie's friendship."

Valve co-founder Gabe Newell will be making a video address at 2016's Unity Vision Summit for a special address.

Unity have gone big on virtual reality as a technology ever since the Oculus Rift shuffled into the scene, with their game platform currently allowing everyone to export to VR with just a button click. As a result the speaker list reads like a who's who in the virtual reality scene: Palmer Luckey, Clay Bavor and even Dr Richard Marks, the director of the PlayStation Magic Lab

Newell's appearance is of course related to Half Life 3 Valve's SteamVR platform and the HTC Vive VR Headset.

This would be a perfect time for Valve to reveal the price of the Vive, as the system is launching in April and we don't have a price yet, and that would explain why Gabe would be taking to the big stage.

There's also the chance, hopefully, possibly, that Gabe will show what Valve have been working on for on for VR. At the moment they don't have anything announced but I'm hoping for something exciting, even if it's Ricochet 2.

The event takes place on February 10-11th in Hollywood and we'll be bringing you more news from the event as it appears.

Fixpoint Productions, the studio behind the Silver Award-winning games Pivvot and Polymer, has just announced its third project.

The game is called Piloteer, and all we know about it so far is from this one image.

It's someone strapped into a steampunk jetpack, from the looks of it, which is quite the visual deviation from developer Whitaker Trebella's previous work.

Picture the globby, grid-based shapes of the colorful Polymer, looking like a disjointed cubist painting, or the clean, windy paths of the minimalistic Pivvot.

Piloteer features a human character, in what seems to be a fantastical setting, given the golden jetpack and all.

Different, yet intriguing. Will Piloteer be an abstract puzzle or arcade game as Trebella's previous work? Or something more narrative-driven?

We'll have to wait and see.
Each stone's dear nature, worth, and quality.
The main hallmark that most people go crazy about is the creation of stories that embark you as you go. If you’re more of a down-to-earth type, you can opt for a high-school drama or a simple day-to-day occurrence that the game will walk you through. If you like things spicier, you can read about super-hot beings that fall in love, get pregnant, and discover the passion realms. Or, if you’re at the end of the spectrum and enjoy supernatural stories, aliens, vampires, and immortal forces, then you can have that too. Just say the word, and let the fantastic game take the reins.
