Yostar Limited's increasingly popular tower defense title Arknights has begun yet another event today. It's called Twilight of Wolumonde and will see players focusing on solving puzzles alongside introducing stories, operators, maps and a new mechanic.

The story will see operators Folinic and Suzuran arrive in the city of Wolumonde in search of a missing comrade. The folks living in this small town are very clearly hiding something so it'll be up to players to put their detective hats on to find out what that is by searching for clues and hidden secrets.

Throughout the event, players will be able to collect coins that can be spent in the Event Exchange Shop. They will be able to choose from LMD, recruitment permits, upgrade materials, furniture assets and 5-Star Medic Folinic, who is capable of performing as a healer and DPS in battle.

Alongside Folinic, there will also be three other new Arknights operators up for grabs, 6-Star Supporter Suzuran, 5-Star Guard Ayerscarpe and 4-Star Caster Click. Suzuran can help her team in a plethora of different ways such as increasing ally damage, SP recovery, slowing enemies and inflicting enemies with Fragile. She can even recover ally HP with her third skill.

Ayerscarpe meanwhile, can deal ranged Arts damage to several targets whilst also slowing them. Finally, Click is a caster that attacks enemies using Drones that are strengthened further by her skills, making her a little different compared to a standard caster.
"Gilbert, who is the girl we have just passed?" asked Anne, in a low voice.
Into the Loop(Download and experience all content at no cost)
You guys know better than anyone just how difficult it is to discover the very best games to play. In fact, that's a large part of the reason why we exist - to help you with this monumental task.

Developers face similarly difficult circumstances. They want you to find, play, and love their games but a small marketing budget and poor exposure in crowded app stores often means they slip under the radar instead.

Spil Games would like to change that.
Time for change
Recently, the publisher ran the 'Unsung Heroes' competition, in collaboration with Pocket Gamer, to try and discover some great games that have not received the exposure that they deserve.

The developer of the winning game will not only receive a publishing deal worth up to $50,000 but also the attention it deserves.

The entries have been counted and reviewed and Spil Games has painstakingly whittled over 300 entries down to a list of 22 finalists.

And you - yes you! - can play your part by voting for your favourite game right here.

Spil Games will be selecting the final winner, but we want to know what you guys think and, more importantly, which games you love.
Just do it
Even if your favourite doesn't end up winning, you're still giving it exposure by voting. So it's absolutely worth getting involved and casting your vote - you can even help further by talking about and sharing your favourite games on social media.

This is an excellent chance for you, the readership, to tell publishers exactly the type of games that you want to see more of so don't miss it.
"I don't know; but if Captain Jim keeps apparitions like that down at this Point I'm going to carry cold iron in my pocket when I come here. He wasn't a sailor, or one might pardon his eccentricity of appearance; he must belong to the over-harbor clans. Uncle Dave says they have several freaks over there."

The latest in the Mikey series, Mike Jumps, is getting a big update sometime soon, and it's gonna be good.
Mikey Teleports??? Coming soon to Mikey Jumps on the @AppStore! pic.twitter.com/APIREFN7qk— BeaverTap Games (@beavertapgames) May 2, 2017 Earlier today BeaverTap Games Tweeted out a short GIF of Mikey Jumps' latest addition. Apart from swinging and jet-packing, there'll soon be teleporters to play with too.

This new feature will be implemented and used in a brand new world with a rather generous 200 levels incoming - the same as the original lot. As updates go, that's a big'un.

There's no specific date for Mikey Jumps 2.0, but the update itself it apparently nearing completion and should hopefully be submitted soon. We'll let you know when it arrives.

Source.

Fresh to myself, if I had self-applied
Previous winners of our Big Indie Pitch events have involved colourful cartoon kitchens, lush fantasy worlds, and futuristic race tracks.

The winning game at the Very Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects 2015 in London features white writing on a black screen.

It's called Progress, and it comes from Card City Nights and Ittle Dew developer Ludosity. Here's how it works: on each page, a vague command is written on a black page. Figure out how to follow it, and you'll fill the screen with white and move on to the next screen.

Some are easy. 'Two fingers'? Hold two fingers on the screen. 'Detour'? Draw a squiggly line like you're tracing the footsteps of a tipsy hiker. 'Ten'? Tap with ten fingers. 'Eleven'? Well, now you're going to have to get creative.

Some ask you to gallop like a horse or sing into the microphone. I don't want to spoil any more challenges but suffice to say that it's constantly surprising you with barmy sentences that your brain somehow manages to convert into movements and touches.

It's the sort of brilliant party piece, where you just want to show it to someone who hasn't played it before, and watch the cogs turn in their head, and see their eyes light up when they try out their silly solutions

It's an ingenious game, and it should be out real soon.

Second place went to Tindrops: a colourful and minimalist reaction game about tapping and sliding on a whack-a-mole grid of circles. There's something vaguely Elite Beat Agents-esque about it, which is never a bad thing.

It comes from Dutch duo Markus Heukelom and Jos Blom, and is currently free on the App Store until February 1st so hey, go grab it.
Third place
And finally, the third place prize was handed to a game called Magic Flute by Mozart. I imagine the 18th century composer had little input on the actual development of this one. Can't imagine Wolfgang is too familiar with Unity.

It's inspired by the game-like stage design of an upcoming rendition of Mozart's The Magic Flute, as choreographed by Amon Miyamoto. Now, you can follow the events of the opera in the form a puzzle game.

You'll be sliding around blocks in a Monument Valley-style, isometric world, trying to solve puzzles (while also avoiding evil snakes). The music's obviously by Mozart, but there's a throaty narrator, too, relaying the story.

We'll have a video of this game soon, so you can see exactly what it looks like.
Kitty Family Mod Kitty Family v2.0.0 mod Features:Use money without reducingKitty Family is an interesting and lovely game !
